"If
Mazlyn Jones received the praise and admiration
he so rightly deserved, he'd be among the most talked
about artists of the late 70s. He constantly manages
to produce music full of creative excellence and
beauty. Many have compared his style to the likes
of Steve Hillage, Roy Harper or Leo Kottke, however
in truth his style is so unique these similies fall
far short of the truth. This release combines various
instrumentals from five of his six previous albums,
along with four extra tracks. All pieces began life
as themes or melodies which were recorded at the
moment of their fruition, trapping atmospheres in
a totally inspired way, from a midnight jam in a
garage in Gunnislake to a tiny room overlooking
the harbour at Port Isaac during a thunderstorm.
Mazlyn's breathtaking ability takes the listener
on a journey that transcends anything I have heard
before in his genre. Take my advice and get hold
of this fantastic release" - Rock &
